RJ Joinery News

Last week was especially busy as our construction team spent the best part of it in South England on various jobs. This year has seen us do a complete yard refurbishment at Faringdon, Oxfordshire. We have renewed roofs, stable fronts, stable doors, tack doors, re-lined several boxes and partitioned unused buildings into stylish stables. Last week, we were back to run mains water pipe to 23 stables in order to kit the stables out with automatic drinkers!

The large capacity bowl is fitted with a float valve and 25mm drain off plug. The float valve is protected within plastic housing. There are two mounting points on the rear of this drinker to ensure secure fitting to a stable corner.

The second job of the week took us Quainton, Aylesbury. A small village located in central Buckinghamshire. We have landed the contract to replace eight stable doors and frames in an existing concrete stable block. Each frame and door are custom sizes to fit the current opening and hand painted to the customers choice of colour. Wednesday's tasks were to fit the first stable door and frame in front of a house door and to measure for the next stage of fitting the remaining seven. We have taken the exact measurements back with us to manufacture the frame and doors this week at our workshop. We expect to be back for fitting next week!

Lastly, a short trip from Quainton to Dunstable on Thursday to complete the last job on the road for the week. Over the past 12 months we have spent weeks at Dunstable - erecting stables and garages. All painted black with oak posts and beams. Thursday we were erecting a plant room previously manufactured at our workshop. Like the stables and garages at this property, the timber panels were painted black to match other buildings in the area. Oak posts and beams to the front of the plant room finish the building beautifully. We use high quality material in all of our buildings which gives the customer a strong, durable and sleek product!

Later today we have news of a christmas special offer, so keep your eyes peeled!
